More Cools Arts and an Interview

The other day I did an interview with ThePaintedMan.com. You should go check it out. Post haste!

I also did another trace doodle fanart thing, this time for my good friend and collaborator Doc Pop.

Also, this might be the coolest piece of fan art nerdcore has had. Got an e-mail from fan Lance and he told me he did some computer work for a friend and as payment his buddy Bob Raymond drew this.

I feel as though this nerdcore army could destroy entire worlds. And a majority of the people in this sketch will be at Nerdapalooza, so you should be too!

Fan Art

Recently I’ve been making little trace images for my friends like I used to back in the day. So far I’ve done pieces for YT, Lars, and my gf Chandra. Check em out.

Well I think my new friend Bronson must have checked them out, because instead of studying for his finals, he made this!

Thank you very much Bronson! I loves it!

If you are so inclined to make me fan art, you totally should. And then you should send it to me! Thanks!

Keeping it Connected

Hey gang. It’s that time again when I throw up a new wordpress design for no reason and remind a handful of you that visit that I’m still alive. For reals. This is blood pumping through these veins! Work is still being done on both solo albums (Untitled Mustin project and multiple producer With Sprinkles!) as well as working on more tracks for the new Grammar Club album. We’re doing work with Dual Core’s very own c64 which, so far, is sounds very very good.

I also wanted to remind everyone where else they could find… me. To the right you’ll see the Elsewhere section with links to my various pages on other sites, but allow me to also help that would with graphics!

Hey! Wanna know what I think about the food I’m about to eat or what kind of shitty day I’m having? Perhaps you would like to read interesting fan fiction on a Friday afternoon? Look no further than my Twitter page my friend!

Ah yes. I finally got a facebook page. And you can become a fan! You really can! You can also add my Keith A. Moore account if you’re so inclined as well.

I know peeps are hating on MySpace these days, but I also know there is still some love for it out there. If you have love in your heart for Fox Corp, I’ll still be there for ya.

I don’t post many vids, and when I do it’s of an adorable little girl I call Nugget, but with Nerdapalooza coming up it’s a safe bet there will be more vids posted very very soon! Plus you can go back and watch vids of me being an idiot. Yay!

Thesixtyone is cool because it’s part game, part radio service. I loves it. Plus I’m kinda popular on that site so you should all go join as soon as possible! Please!

Not much exciting about my Last.FM page, but it’s cool and maybe you could leave me a shout or two. Plus it’s interesting who I’m a similar artist to (and who I’m not).

I love Flickr. Sadly for most it’s just become a place for me to post pics of Nugget, but again, with Nerdapalooza coming up you can rest assured I’m going to be snapping a shit-ton of pics. Flickr ownz!

It’s not very useful, but I totally have my own imdb page. How cool is that?!

I do in fact have a Wikipedia page, but it’s frequently getting vandalized by people who find fat jokes to be the height of hilarity. Some useful info though if you’re new to the site.

And please don’t forget you can catch Jones and myself on our (sometimes) weekly podcast Just Another Lazy Podcast. Become a member of the Faithful Seven and, who knows, maybe some day we’ll have JALP decoder rings and membership badges!

Well this was all surprisingly more work than I wanted to do. Stay tuned as I come back with more info on gigs and music. In the meantime… courage!

Shows Upcoming

I haven’t posted here in a bit. Maybe that would explain the lack of, ya know, web traffic.

This Wednesday marks the return of the Supervillains to the Tri-Cities and this go around I get to be one of the people opening up for them. Oh how I do love to open! I caught the Supervillains last year because I buddy dragged me to it and I’m so glad he did because they combine smooth riffs and ska excitement with stoner humor. That last part is a plus with me.

May 27th. Richland, WA
Ray’s Golden Lion in the Uptown
All Ages!

Also, in July, I will be heading off for my first ever visit to Florida (Orlando to be specific) for Nerdapalooza 2009. So, each and every person from Florida who has ever sent me an e-mail asking “Hey man! Why don’t you ever come to Florida? I would bring like 12 people with me if they knew you were coming to Florida” you are now obligated to not only show up, but to bring at least half of the people you promised me in previous communications. This is a challenge. Accept and conquer it! Other people announced are mc chris, Shaffer the Darklord, Dual Core, and Shael Riley - meaning, yes, we will be putting on the first ever live Grammar Club performance for you lucky Florida people. And while not yet confirmed, it’s a safe bet my friends MC Lars and ytcracker will be there too. If you don’t show up… well I might not even want to know you. :)

Vlog with Bethzilla on AtomicTown.com

The other day Bethzilla stopped by and we shot the shit for a while and just so happened to film it. So see some footage that will likely get my girlfriend mad at me and will upset people who hate spilled Chai Tea.

Check out the video at AtomicTown.com.

(I would embed it… but I don’t know how.)

The Adventures of Beef Thompson: IN SPACE

Who doesn’t love a free album? This is all basically tracks I’ve put out for free over the past year, but now their all gathered here in a nice little package. Four solo tracks, a Grammar Club track (which is also available at TheGrammarClub.com) and me adding vocals to rock songs by the now dead From The Dust and the very much alive Random Orbits. Enjoy. Burn. Share. Love!

Download The Adventures of Beef Thompson: IN SPACE right the hell now!

Tonight @ Ray’s and new interview

First of all, be sure to check out the show tonight at Ray’s Golden Lion at the Richland Uptown. Going on with some cool dudes and it’ll be a fun night for sure. 9pm and I’m not sure how much it’ll cost. Sorry about that.

Also holla @ Chris Mikesell of the KaLeo Features section for doing a great piece on yours truly. Feels like the first time I’ve done an interview someone who’s actually heard my music save for Bethzilla. Much fun. Hopefully I will be made famous in Hawaii. <3s to Chris.

Back from the ‘dam. Show on Friday the 13th

Did I mention I got back from Amsterdam all safe and sould like? Cause I did. For reals.

For pictures I took, peep my Flickr. You can also check out some dorky vids I post on my YouTube.

Here is some of the press we were featured in…

Another video at Bright.tv (I couldn’t figure out how to embed it…stupid Dutch not being English…lol)

Also, I think like 20 or so minutes in Router and I are on this BNN broadcast. It’s weird hearing American stuff in Dutch.

This Friday the 13th I have a local show at Ray’s Golden Lion in the Richland Uptown. I’m playing with some people who aren’t exactly in my same hip-hop genre but it should be fun. Come out and show some love. Pretty please.

Ok, I think that’s mostly everything.

In Amsterdam!

After two flights totally 13 hours in the air, I have arrived in Amsterdam along with YTCracker and MC Router. Dan and the great guys from 4worx were there to greet us at the airport and MC Lars had already gotten in. (Also, go get MC Lars’ new album This Gigantic Robot Kills. It just came out!) For the record: there was a terrible plane wreck at our airport not long before we touched down and I just want to assure everyone that we are Ok but we feel terrible for the people on that Turkish flight.

I can’t stress enough how amazing Stevijn and Gerrit of 4worx have been. Super helpful, entertaining as all hell, and just some of the nicest people I’ve had the good fortune of meeting. They treating us like kings over here! If you are within even 3000 miles of the Glitched event you better get your ass over here tonight! The first Dutch nerdcore event is looking to be on the biggest nerdcore events period and I can’t tell you how honored I am to be a part of it.

Hope to have some pictures up soon!
