Beefy is a nerdcore hip-hop artist from Southeastern Washington (Tri-Cities represent!). For legal reasons that have been completely fabricated, Beefy also goes by Beef Thompson.

Beefy has been writing hip-hop songs since middle school, and in 2004 he released his first song “Whitesican.” Since then he has released 4 free EPs and 3 studio albums including Rolling Doubles and his latest 2010 offering With Sprinkles. Beefy has utilized the talents of amazing producers such as tanner4105, Mustin, c64, Doc Pop, and dj john to name a few.

Beefy has worked with nearly every name in the nerdcore community. He is a member of internet supergroup The Grammar Club along with long time collaborator Shael Riley. He has appeared on tracks with MC Frontalot, Dual Core, Random, MC Lars, and ytcracker and has performed at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, The Nerdapalooza Festival in Orlando, and at the Glitched Event in Amsterdam. Beefy was also featured in nerd rap documenteries Nerdcore For Life and Nerdcore Rising.

irl, Beefy is a full time student in Pasco, WA. He lives with his game store girlfriend and her daughter Nugget. He will occasionally have his friends Jones McFly and Steve McQueen over and will record them talking about video games, pornography, and cursing. These recordings are usually collected for Just Another Lazy Podcast.
